Mavis is a buff and white, gray and white cat with short fur and a quiet resilience. She and three companions endured tough times, living in a car after their owner lost their home. Through it all, Mavis stayed gentle and affectionate, never losing her trust in people. During her recovery, she formed a close bond with another cat named Puff—both were spayed on the same day and are often found cuddling side by side. Adopting them together isn’t required, but watching their friendship might just change your mind. Mavis needs a safe, loving home, ideally one that appreciates her gentle spirit and offers her the comfort she has been missing. She gets along with cats and children, though dogs are not her preference. After escaping dangers outside, she is finally ready for the steadiness of an indoor life. She’s adoptable in Manatee, Hillsborough, Sarasota, and Pinellas counties, and there's flexibility in her adoption fee to keep things accessible.
