About Skylar

Click apply to start the adoption process. Skylar is a striking husky/shepherd mix with piercing blue eyes, about 3 years old and weighing 40 lbs. He has made an impressive recovery after having TPLO surgery on his leg last year, bouncing back to his energetic self. Skylar adores running and playing, showing off his playful and spirited personality. He enjoys being with other dogs and burns off energy during active play sessions. Though Skylar likes to lead, he listens well to gentle correction and appreciates structure. New people and quick movements may make him a little anxious at first, but with patience and a few treats, he quickly warms up. Once he feels comfortable, you’ll find he loves cuddling, giving kisses, and soaking up all the affection you have to offer. His sweet habit of reaching out for your hand when you stop petting him shows just how much he values companionship. Skylar is now trained in basic obedience and leash walking, ready to bring joy to either a foster or forever home. He will thrive in a home that can match his high activity level and provide him with plenty of opportunities for exercise and attention. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
