About Charlie
Charlie, also known as Sausage, is a 10-month-old medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier who’s packed plenty of adventure into his young life. He comes from a litter of five pups found under a mobile home in West Dallas and quickly made himself the first to be rescued—his broom-hiding attempt was more cute than cunning. When Charlie first arrived, he was dirty, full of fleas, and scared, but with steady care, nutritious food, and a safe place to stay, he’s blossomed into a lively, happy, and playful companion. Charlie gets along great with other dogs and loves to tumble around with his foster siblings before curling up for cuddles with his foster mom. His medium energy means he’s up for play but also enjoys downtime. He does well with children and is still building his confidence through slow socialization, especially meeting new faces. Training-wise, Charlie is crate-trained, uses the doggy door, and is almost fully potty trained. He’s up to date on all his puppy vaccines, microchipped, on regular flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and will be neutered soon. Charlie is looking for a gentle, patient home ready to see him thrive as part of the family. Your new best friend is just one click away.
