About Woodstock
Woodstock is a 1- to 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a medium white and cream coat who’s in McAllen, TX, but can head your way once adopted. He’s a big guy at about 65 lbs, neutered and up-to-date on shots. Woodstock and his siblings were abandoned on a rural road and waited five days without food or water before rescue—so he’s seen some tough times and starts off shy with people. He’s warming up, though, showing growing curiosity and a desire for affection. He’s affectionate, smart, and fully house trained. Woodstock loves playing with other dogs and gets along well with them. He’s also good with children. There are no in-person meet and greets since dogs are transported post-adoption, mostly to the East Coast or designated Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont spots.
