He loves people of all ages and wants to give as much affection as he receives, so he seeks a home ready to share plenty of attention. Sir Charles needs to be the only animal in the household. He doesn't get along with other dogs, cats, or small animals. He is housebroken and crate trained, often lounging content in his crate between play sessions. Plush squeaky toys and a good game of fetch bring out his goofy side, and he wonāt tire of chasing after toys indoors or in the yard as long as you keep up. Active and smart, Sir Charles enjoys walks and yard time, though heās still working on leash manners, especially when he spots other animals. A family familiar with Huskies will understand his energy and need for ongoing trainingāheās shown real improvement with guidance. Loud trucks and abrupt noises outside can make him jumpy, likely due to a rough start after being hit by a car before rescue, but he rests easy indoors even during fireworks or storms. Ever the entertainer, heās been known to eye squirrels in trees and try to climb after them. He genuinely believes he belongs in your lap and looks for every chance to snuggle. Sir Charles overcame serious injuries with resilience and warmth, winning over everyone, even at the hospital.
