About Poppy
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Poppy is a charming young shepherd who came into care along with her siblings after their owner could no longer look after them. Estimated to have been born in mid-February, she is already showing wonderful qualities in her foster home. Poppy is crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained—a fantastic start! She has been spayed, microchipped, and has her vaccinations up to date. Her foster mom describes her as incredibly sweet, patient, and calm. Poppy is content playing on her own but also adores playtime with her big foster brother, who’s about the size of a lab. She loves mealtime and is friendly with everyone she meets, adults and kids alike. Although she’s still getting to know other dogs, she is a little timid at first but quickly warms up. Poppy’s loving personality shines through in everything she does and she’s bound to steal your heart. Please note: Poppy is only adoptable to homes in NC and SC. What are you waiting for?
