About Sailor
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Sailor—the "drunken sailor" with a heart of gold! Sailor is a 3-year-old, 58-pound bundle of charm, playfulness, and unwavering spirit. With his delightfully wobbly gait and goofy grin, this handsome boy radiates resilience and joy. Don’t let his swagger fool you—he’s always ready for cuddles and full of happy mischief! Neutered and fully vaccinated, Sailor is primed for his forever family. His house-training is progressing quickly (aided by his dashing belly band), and he's a crate-trained superstar who keeps his space spotless while you’re away. Smart and treat-motivated, Sailor’s cheerful attitude is infectious. Rescued from the brink at a local shelter, his special wobbly walk is the result of a childhood brain injury—not a degenerative issue—making him uniquely endearing and delightfully distinctive. Sailor thrives in a home without stairs since his mobility can be a bit unsteady. Being deaf, he offers nighttime snack stealth but, as a bonus, he’s not much of a barker! Sailor enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes (with proper introductions), and while he’s friendly with children, older kids are best given his excitable, playful nature. With his joyful "march" and wagging tail, Sailor makes every day brighter. Born June 24th, he’s a Cancer—known for loyalty and affectionate cuddles. Welcome the unforgettable charm of Sailor into your life and discover how imperfect can be absolutely perfect. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
