Billy is a 53-pound, one-year-old male Shepherd mix found as a stray by Delano Animal Control. Despite his time on the streets, he’s shown nothing but friendliness and confidence since landing at the Delano Animal Shelter. Billy gets along well with other dogs, especially the females, and he thrives on making new friends and romping around with canine companions at the dog park. He doesn’t have an ounce of aggression in him—it’s all about play and easygoing energy with this guy. Billy is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his DAPP and Rabies vaccines. He has not been tested around cats or children, so that side remains a mystery. As for housetraining, that could be a work in progress, but with his eager-to-please attitude, he’ll likely settle into a new routine quickly. Billy is ready for adoption or rescue.
