About Shania
Shania has proven resilient after facing abandonment on the streets, still greeting people with trust and adapting to new places when given a little patience. She prefers to be close rather than in your lap, often curling up beside you while you relax, work, or even head to the kitchen. Shania gives affection on her own terms—she’s never pushy but does love attention, sometimes tapping your arm or leg for a few pets. Loud noises still startle her, so she’ll be happiest in a calm home. Another mellow cat could be a great companion, especially for her late-night zoomies. By day, Shania’s a fan of back-stretching naps and quiet company. At four years old, she’s playful with toys but settled enough to be easygoing and chill. Shania should fit well with older kids and will bring her soft, relaxed company to the right adopter. She’s living in foster care in Koreatown, and foster-to-adopt is encouraged if you want to get to know her. All cats from Del Gato Rescue are responsibly vet-checked and come spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
