About Zander
Zander is a big, cheerful presence looking for a partner in adventure or a loving family. At around 2 years old and possibly a Mastiff mix, he weighs in at 86 lbs but doesn’t bring the drool. Despite his size, he’s mellow in a crate and has a laid-back vibe during car rides, often just curling up for a nap. Zander is strong and still picking up leash manners, but he’ll melt for attention even if food isn't his thing. He’s passed his kid test and is being reassessed with cats, as his first meeting showed a bit too much interest. He enjoys meeting people and other dogs, happily exploring events and then loading himself into his crate without a fuss when it's time to go. Zander's good nature shines through in every interaction, and he’s currently getting extra training in a foster program. He’s a soft-hearted, goofy guy who’s ready for his next chapter—a home, a daily walk, or a backyard to call his own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
