About Zander
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Zander! This big, lovable boy is always ready for the next adventure or just hanging out with his favorite people. At about 2 years old and weighing in at a sturdy 86 pounds, Zander is guessed to be a Mastiff mix (but without the characteristic slobber!) and possibly has German Shepherd and Presa Canario heritage. Despite his size, he remains calm in his crate, even during car rides. Zander has shown that he gets along with kids and is curious (but not yet fully tested) with cats. Zander is strong and energetic, but he is learning his leash manners and is quick to cooperate if he receives some loving petting in return. He recently enjoyed a spa day and a meet and greet event where he behaved wonderfully with people and other dogs, and even loaded himself back into his crate when the event ended. Zander is a big, goofy guy in search of an adventure buddy or a family to call his own. He has just started a four-week foster and training program, and heβs looking forward to showing off his new skills to his future family! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
