Meet Slinky, a tiny panther with a big heart! This charming little shadow loves nothing more than following his feline friends around, soaking up their wisdom and joining in on their adventures. Slinky loves humans just as much and is a total cuddle bug at night, often curling up by your neck or at your feet for a cozy sleep. Come breakfast time, he’ll come running at the sound of a can opening as he is a huge foodie. He's never been the one to turn down a tasty snack. Slinky would thrive in a home with another friendly cat that he can follow around and take naps with. He also loves being a part of your morning routine as you get ready for work or winding down after a long busy day on the couch. With his playful nature, sweet snuggles, and gentle curiosity, Slinky will make the purrfect little roommate. Currently in foster care in Whittier. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
