Meet Purple! Purple is a pure bundle of joy, with sleek black fur that gleams under the light. She's playful and full of energy, always pouncing and darting around with a mischievous sparkle in her bright yellow eyes. Despite her playful and exploring nature, she’s incredibly loyal and sweet, often curling up in your lap to cuddle after a long day. She loves giving you cuddles but she also loves her space. She goes on long naps hiding in her best warm place. Her purrs are constant and comforting, a soothing melody that fills the room whenever she's near. Athletic and agile, she effortlessly leaps and explores, yet she’s meticulous about staying clean, always grooming herself with tender care. Above all, her loving nature shines through in every interaction, making her an irreplaceable companion full of affection. Purple will do best in a home with another playful cat or kitten! She would love to be adopted with her sibling Blue. Currently in foster care in South Los Angeles. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
