Rosetta wants nothing more than a bowl full of kibble and a spot next to your lap. Don’t let her “Resting B Face” fool you, this girl loves to give out affection. At the same time, she is a super mellow 6 year-old who really does her own thing. She is full of personality even if she wants to sleep 20 hours a day. She isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time for breakfast, but has no interest in treats. She won’t let you take a bath alone but she doesn’t want you to put her in your lap-she will tell you when it’s time for a cuddle! Rosetta makes the rules. She’s truly a goofy girl with a charming, one-of-a-kind personality. A quiet, calm household would be ideal for Rosetta, though she does fine with other cats and dogs who aren’t terribly interested in her. Currently in foster care in Los Feliz. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
