About Rizzo
Rizzo arrived in foster care a bit afraid of humans, but quickly warmed up, and learned to love getting pet (and churu treats!) She’ll come when called, and is very playful and inquisitive. She is in foster care with her sister Sandy, and does enjoy a good wrestling match with her. She has done extremely well with the foster’s resident cats, with good manners and a gentle approach. She’s a sweet, sweet girl, and will make a rewarding and loving companion! *very much loves other cats - must go to a home with other playful cats* Currently in foster care in Panorama City. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. To begin the application process, please fill out our application here: https://form.jotform.com/212117959297062 We will try our best to be in touch within 24-48 hours. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments. Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!
