Hi, I’m Renita... and I give hugs. Actual hugs. Hi! I’m Renita. I’m about 50 pounds but on the shorter, compact side — like a little loaf with legs. A very cute loaf, if I may say so myself. I’m a house-trained, crate-trained, people-loving girl who really just wants to be close to my humans. I’ll follow you, snuggle you, and yes... I will literally wrap my paws around you for a hug. It’s kind of my thing. I’m a super chill dog. Soft. Gentle. Easy. I don’t ask for much — just some company, some love, and maybe a comfy spot to nap near you. I love to hang out and just chew on bones. Right now, I need to be your one and only dog, but I’m working really hard on being calmer around other dogs. I used to get pretty worried, and now I’m learning to ignore them and feel much braver. I might be able to have dog friends someday with the right help! What I really want is a home (even a temporary one!) where I get lots of human interaction, because people are my absolute favorite. Oh — and my foster mom is looking for a foster takeover for me.
