About Lysandra
Meet Lysandra! The sweetest, quirky little girl who loves snacks, toys, and cozy spots. She is playful and independent with the happiest purrs. She is naturally on the nervous side, but it did not take long for her to show her curious, playful side once she felt safe. She seeks playtime with other cats in the home, but waits for them to warm up to her. Her funniest quirk is she loves asking for all the pets the second you sit down in the bathroom, even if she is asleep she will wake up to follow you in there for the best pets. Whoever adopts her should know that patience is key with Lysandra, just like with any cat. She will be nervous at first, wanting to hide, not wanting to be pet and will be the most comfortable on her own in a smaller space. With a bit of time she will establish trust, however! Her personality will blossom into a playful, curious, and affectionate cat. She needs someone willing to go at Lysandra’s pace, give her space, and let her personality come out when she is ready. Currently in foster care in Fullerton. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments. Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!
