About Koko
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Koko, a stunning and unique American Staffordshire Terrier/mixed breed who is truly coming into her own! At 4 years old, she is spayed, fully healthy, and has been making inspiring progress every day since arriving at the rescue. When Koko was first surrendered, she was quite shy and unsure, but a year in foster care has revealed a whole new side to her. Koko now enjoys the company of other dogs, actively learning how to play, and relishes running and jumping around the yard. While she’s calm and crate-trained indoors, she prefers her own bed next to yours rather than cuddling—for now! Still, she will nudge your hand or paw at you for affection when she’s ready. Koko walks beautifully on leash and shines when meeting new people and dogs at the dog park. While she can be wary of new sounds, she responds with curiosity instead of fear. Smart, sensitive, and willing to learn, Koko is looking for a patient, loving home to help her continue building confidence. With kindness and consistency, she promises to be the most loyal and joyful companion. As a bonus, Koko’s birthday is November 12, making her a passionate and determined Scorpio! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
