Mr. Bruce Bruce is a big, happy, low-key fella. He recently had his first HW treatment and neuter, so he was decked out in a cone when I picked him up. He is a good traveler in the car. Age 4, 72 #, just wants to be loved on and have a family to call his own. Bruce was a little apprehensive going in and out of doors. He likes you to fully enter before he follows you. However, he is great on a leash and will follow along easily. I have fed him in his crate and give a treat every time he goes in his crate so there isn't an issue with that. What surprises me most, is that I have never heard him bark. He can't expend any energy due to his HW restrictions of activity, but I get a feeling, he would enjoy walks but isn't the running around type of guy. We let him out for his last potty break between 10:30-11pm and he gets up about 7ish. No accidents thus far. Our personal dog is a small senior and afraid of everyone, so he hasn't been officially introduced to Bruce. We did an experiment one day with my husband holding our senior sitting down in a chair near Bruce while crated. Bruce did not react. Please consider Bruce if you are looking to add a quiet fella to your family. He is so sweet and deserving
