About Bruce
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Bruce, a big, happy, and easygoing guy just looking for his forever family. Bruce has recently completed his neuter surgery and started heartworm treatment, so he might be found sporting a cone during his recovery. He’s a fantastic car traveler and, at 4 years old and around 72 pounds, loves affection and the comfort of companionship. Bruce has a gentle soul and can be slightly apprehensive about doorways, preferring that you enter first before he comes along. On walks, he shines—a superb walker on a leash and calmly follows your lead. He’s comfortable being crated and responds well to positive reinforcement with treats, making transitions stress-free. Remarkably, Bruce is very quiet—he’s yet to bark at all—and he appears to be easy to settle during nighttime routines, with no accidents reported so far. Though he hasn’t been fully introduced to other pets yet, an experiment with a small senior dog showed Bruce to be calm and non-reactive. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who just wants to be loved, Bruce is the perfect candidate. He will make a wonderful addition to any home ready to offer patience, comfort, and a loving family. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
