About Betty
Betty is a 2-year-old, black, scruffy terrier mix with long hair and a deep desire to stick close to her people—she takes the phrase 'Velcro dog' seriously. Rescued from a difficult background, Betty was confiscated from an abuse and neglect situation. When she arrived, her coat was patchy and thin due to poor nutrition, but it's filling in nicely now. Betty is scheduled for FHO surgery on December 9 and will need about six weeks of rest while she heals. After her hip is fixed, she'll also be treated for heartworm. It takes a little time for her to trust, but once she does, she's your best friend. She’s about 42 lbs and ready for a calm, loving environment while she recovers. Betty does well with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a solid choice for a multi-pet or family household. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
