About Betty
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Betty is a 2-year-old, black, scruffy-haired terrier mix with a heart of gold and the personality of a Velcro companion—she always wants to be with her people. Having been rescued from a neglectful and abusive situation, Betty's journey has been one of true resilience. When she arrived, her coat reflected her struggles, but with loving care, it’s now coming back lush and healthy. Betty is scheduled for FHO surgery on December 9, which means she’ll need a quiet home and low activity for about six weeks as she recovers. Once she’s healed, she’ll receive heartworm treatment so she can live her best life. Betty’s warmth shines through once she’s settled in and you’ll quickly see her turn into your unwavering best friend. She’s friendly with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and kids—she just needs the comfort and patience to blossom fully. If you’re ready for a loving, loyal, and gentle companion, Betty will be the missing piece for your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
