About Douglas
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Douglas is a sweet and affectionate dog who absolutely loves being around people. He enjoys attention and will gladly snuggle up close for some quality time. Douglas has an old injury to his left knee that didn’t heal properly, making him unable to use that leg. The veterinarians recommend an amputation to help improve his comfort and mobility. His current medical needs exceed what the shelter can provide, so he’s searching for a committed home ready to help him recover and live a pain-free, happy life. He’s at risk due to his ongoing medical concerns and is looking for someone who can offer the dedicated care he deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
