About Dot Hudson

Dot Hudson—usually called Dottie—was born on Christmas Day 2024 after her mother was rescued as a stray and given a safe place to have her puppies. Eleven months later, Dottie is about 50 lbs and has known rescue life her whole existence. She’s a retriever mix with a gentle, golden tan coat, and she’s ready to experience what it means to be a family dog. Dottie mixes brains and sweetness: she knows sit, stay, and shake, and is both potty trained and crate trained. She handles the leash like a pro and wants to please. She gets along well with other dogs and children, so she could easily fit in with a family looking for a playful, affectionate companion. Tug is her favorite game, and she’s always up for a round before winding down for a cuddle on the sofa. After growing up in rescue, Dottie is looking for someone to finally show her what home feels like. Fun fact: born December 28, Dot is a Capricorn—she’s determined, loyal, and loves routine.
