Hercules is a "wise guardian." He takes on the role of protector, as a mature cat is often more serene, prefers to choose when and with whom to cuddle, making each snuggle session feel special. Hercules arrived here at Critical Care Kitten Coalition back in May 2024 as a skinny, but large, feral with a lacerated arm. He required getting neutered and spending a few months in a cage in order to get him healed, then to properly socialize him. He eventually graduated to his own room and now walks the entire rescue without issue. Though his ears and body are covered in scars, showing the hard life he has left behind, he is now a 20-pound lap kitty, who LOVES to be pet and get scritches. Hercules is now incredibly sweet. Since he can get overstimulated, his ideal home is one without children or young teens. He's great around other cats. Dogs might be alright too, as long as they're not "yappers".
