About Lorie Darlin
Lorie Darlin is a gentle soul with a shy streak at first, but once she opens up, she wants nothing more than a steady stream of belly rubs and your attention. At 40 lbs and full grown, she's the perfect mid-sized companion for anyone who enjoys both outdoor adventures and lounging indoors. Lorie loves walks (though she's still figuring out leash manners) and will chase a ball or soak up affection on a soft blanket without complaint. She happily sleeps through the night, sometimes needing an extra nudge to get moving in the morning. Lorie already knows "sit" and is picking up "shake." This girl can be left alone at home for hours without getting into trouble—she's not the destructive type. While she's not currently house trained, she's kennel savvy and adores her cozy space. Lorie is dog selective; she needs time and patience when meeting new canine friends, but can adjust and settle in with other dogs given a gradual introduction. She currently lives with three others and gets along fine after proper acclimation. Lorie is fantastic with kids but doesn’t do well with cats or small pets. She’d thrive in a home where her need for a slower dog introduction is understood and respected. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
