About Stanley
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Stanley is a striking American Shorthair with glossy black fur and captivating yellow eyes. With a larger-than-life personality, this 4-year-old is both curious and cuddly. Stanley’s journey began with a dramatic rescue at just 1.5 weeks old when he was found after falling from a moving car. Raised by a loving family from that point, he blossomed into an affectionate, people-centered companion who thrives on close human contact. He’ll trail after his humans, greet them at the door, and sit devotedly at their feet—exhibiting dog-like devotion. Because Stanley missed out on his earliest social lessons with his mom, he's still learning how to play gently. He may play with a bit more intensity than typical cats, sometimes biting or scratching without realizing it hurts. When he becomes overexcited, it’s hard for him to settle without some patient redirection. Stanley truly needs a calm home environment and would do best as the only cat, in a child-free household. He’s searching for an experienced adopter ready to nurture his spirited nature, providing patience and gentle boundaries to help him flourish. Once you earn Stanley’s trust, the bond you share will be deep and rewarding. Stanley is overflowing with love, ready to be the heart of someone's home where he can finally find peace and security. Fun fact: With a date of birth in August, Stanley is a Leo, and he's certainly got the confidence and charisma to match his star sign! Think you are the one? Submit an application!
