Stanley is a striking American Shorthair with glossy black fur and vivid yellow eyes that follow you everywhere. At around 4 years old, he is curious, cuddly, and brimming with personality. Raised from just 1.5 weeks old by the family who rescued him, he grew up affectionate and loves to be close to his person. Stanley greets people at the door, waits outside the shower, and gently demands to be part of daily life. That said, his early days away from his mother shaped him—he sometimes gets overstimulated and can play rough, not always understanding that biting or scratching goes too far. He needs a quiet, child-free home as a solo cat, with someone committed to giving him patience and guidance as he learns boundaries. Stanley’s bond with the right person will run deep. He thrives on human company, loyally trailing his favorite person from room to room. With the right adopter—someone cat-savvy, patient, and ready to dedicate time—Stanley’s affection and devotion will be the reward.
