About Jaws

Jaws is looking for a new home after his previous owner passed away. He’s about 2-3 years old, with a short, stocky build and a timid streak, especially compared to his brother. His mother was a feist, though his dad's breed is uncertain, giving him a mixed-breed background, and his coloring is mostly black with some bicolor markings. Jaws has always lived outside and isn’t potty trained yet, so his adopter should expect to do some work there. He has a habit of wandering, so he’ll need a secure, fenced yard or to be leashed when outside. He currently gets along well with his foster’s other dogs, though he hasn’t been around smaller dogs to know how he’d do in that setting. Jaws was neutered in February, tested negative for heartworm, and weighs around 42 lbs. All CRAR dogs are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped before going to their new families. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
