About Ruby
Ruby is a smart and inquisitive Heeler/Husky mix who came into the rescue with her littermates after a rough start and clear signs of neglect. With some time to decompress and recover, she’s come out on the other side full of spirit and curiosity, happy and healthy. She’s the kind of dog who thrives on adventure—daily sniffing or exploring is essential for her. Ruby plays hard with her siblings and loves splashing in cold water in the summer, typical herding-dog stamina meets husky resilience. She’s looking for someone who’ll provide consistent training, mental stimulation, and room to roam. Right now, Ruby’s still young and working on house training; she’ll need plenty of outdoor breaks as she masters it. Keep chew toys and antlers handy because she’s solidly in her chewing stage. While she gets along well with other dogs, her compatibility with cats hasn’t been tested—introductions in that area would need a careful approach. Ruby’s ready for someone energetic and patient, and she’ll reward you with smarts and loyalty. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
