About Poppy
Poppy and her sister Daisy were abandoned in the country as puppies, and the rescue has cared for them for months, watching them grow up together. Poppy is a character—full of kisses, energy, and silly antics. Of the pair, Poppy is the love bug. She’s always ready to cover you in kisses, shake her tail, or flop over for a belly rub. If there were a prom for rescue dogs, Poppy would be the queen. She’s everything you’d want in a cheerful sidekick, with a sweet and outgoing personality that balances Daisy’s independent streak. The sisters have a rare bond; though it’s usually not advised to adopt siblings, these two are the rare exception, having shown nothing but kindness and gentle play with each other. The ideal scenario would be adopting them together, but each would thrive in a good home if adopted separately. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and children, gives out endless affection, and is eager for a family to match her infectious enthusiasm. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
