Life hasn't always been kind to me -- I came to the shelter as a stray, and the staff found some old battle scars that tell a story of a rough past. But despite it all, I'm a gentle, sweet boy who's learning to trust again. I'm still a young adult, and a bit shy, especially around fast movements or loud environments. I can be a little nervous at first, but once I feel safe, my true loving personality starts to shine. I'm very submissive with other dogs, so I would need slow, patient introductions to new furry friends -- but I'm open to making them! The amazing staff here have been helping me come out of my shell, and every day I grow a little more confident.
