About George
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet George, an adult, neutered male domestic short hair around 2–3 years old who is FIV+. George is a true survivor, having once been a tough street cat rescued after suffering from bite marks and a serious injury to his cheek. Thanks to his resilience and loving nature, he’s become a favorite among veterinary staff. George adores people and hopes to find his very own person to share naps, TV time, and companionship. He’s a chill and quiet companion who thrives in a calm, peaceful environment. While George prefers to be the only cat in a household, he does get along well with female cats and would do best either as a solo pet or with a gentle female feline friend. It’s best that he isn’t placed with male cats. As an FIV+ cat, George can live alongside FIV- cats if all are spayed/neutered and there is no aggressive behavior—but always check with your veterinarian before making adoption decisions involving FIV+ pets. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
