About Loving
Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Meet Loving! This large, 14-year-old Rottweiler mix holds the distinction of being one of the rescue's longest residents. Having come from a backyard breeder, Loving spent his early years without much human interaction. Thanks to the patience and dedication of rescue volunteers and a trainer, he has made great progress and is now much more comfortable and trusting around people. Loving is best suited for adult-only homes and, despite his affectionate name, prefers his space rather than being a snuggler. He is friendly and enjoys being near you, especially when it's time for a walk or a dip in the tub—water play is a top hobby! Treats bring out his playful side, often prompting a joyful circle dance. As with many seniors, Loving doesn't need much except understanding, patience, and a loving home—with joint supplements always appreciated. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will be devoted and grateful, Loving could be the perfect fit for your home. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Rottweilers generally do well in homes with plenty of space and a securely fenced yard. They thrive in environments where they receive consistent companionship and a predictable routine.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Rottweilers need access to a moderate to large yard where they can move around and exercise. Regular outdoor walks and opportunities to play are important for their mental and physical well-being.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Rottweilers can be good with children when properly socialized, but due to their size and strength, supervision is important. They are better suited to homes with older children who know how to interact with large dogs.
