About Margo

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Learn more about FIV+ cats like Margo! With a diagnosis of feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), Margo is still fully capable of living a long, joyful life—many FIV+ cats thrive for 10 to 15 years or more with proper care, showing little to no symptoms. FIV can't be transmitted to humans or dogs, and only spreads to other cats through bite wounds, not through grooming, sharing food or water bowls, or cuddling. To keep everyone safe, FIV+ cats such as Margo should be indoors only, which will help protect their immune system and prevent any chance of transmission to other cats. Every FIV+ cat deserves just as much love and has so much affection to give—don't overlook these wonderful companions.
