Pisces is part of a group of six kittens and two adult cats rescued from a colony near the Cahokia Mounds in St. Louis. A dedicated couple regularly cared for the entire colony, making it their goal to find homes for the most adoptable cats. Pisces and her family were trapped and brought to safety, where they quickly multiplied when one of the adult females gave birth, turning eight rescued cats into twelve. Pisces arrived underweight and covered in parasites—fleas and tapeworms had made life rough. Thankfully, after a thorough round of veterinary care, she’s now healthy and much more comfortable. Pisces is a black and white, medium-haired beauty, still learning how to trust people after her time outdoors but showing daily progress with the staff and volunteers.
