Hi, my name is Phoenix, and I will shine for you if you look at my light. Being fairly shy, I sometimes miss out on attention because I'm too shy to seek it. But when you talk to me and pet me gently, I will show you that I really appreciate you. My previous owner was killed by a drunk driver, so my friends and I had to find another place to go. Every day I long to have a home of my own, where I belong. I was an inside only cat, but now I am allowed to venture out to an enclosed deck where I spend a good deal of time. I would probably be comfortable being only indoors, but would appreciate an open window where I could enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Chances are I will hide when new people are around, but my confidence will grow when I am treated well and feel safe. So I would appreciate a quiet home with no small children.
