About Copper Boom

Copper Boom landed here after his former shelter got overcrowded. He was just three months old when he arrived, and now he’s almost two. His coat is mostly white, but when he gets wet or you look closely, hidden fawn spots show through—like a baby deer in disguise. He’s one of the softest dogs in the bunch, and he loves curling up in bed with his person if allowed. House training is a work in progress; he prefers to go outdoors, but every now and then has an accident. Copper Boom will let you know if anything’s amiss—he announces visitors or odd noises, so expect a vocal presence. He’s a bit wary of new people and situations at first, but it doesn’t take long for him to settle in and show his playful side. He enjoys a good romp with other dogs and tends to establish himself as a leader in the pack. Once Copper Boom warms up, he melts—affectionate, loving, and ready for a family that will let him snuggle when he wants it. His name is a nod for the Gilmore Girls fans, and his personality is proof he’ll be a cherished companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
