About Penny
Penny has lived through some rough chapters but hasnāt let that dim her spirit. Sheās between 3 to 5 years old and was picked up immediately after being thrown from a car. For a while she lived with a good Samaritan, but didnāt get the proper medical attention for her skin and possible neurological issues. Pennyās next owner left her and another dog for what was supposed to be a short dog-sitting, but never returned, leaving Penny abandoned again. Penny is affectionate, craves attention, and is surprisingly sharp. Sheād likely be a good fit as an emotional support dog. She gets along well with other dogs, generally ignores cats, and adores people. Penny suffers from separation anxiety and really thrives when someoneās around. Sheās capable of jumping three-foot fences, so she shouldnāt be left unsupervised in yards. She walks decently on leash, handles a harness, is crate trained, and housebroken. Crating her when alone is bestāshe has a bit of a tendency to swipe food off counters. Pennyās had a hard start, but sheās looking for a home where someone will notice her loyalty and affection.
