About Esmeralda
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Esmeralda: A Story of Perseverance. Esmeralda is a beautiful, 10-year-old black cat who arrived at our rescue in June 2024. Cared for outdoors by a compassionate neighbor for a year, she eventually came into our program when that person moved away. Upon her arrival, we learned Esmeralda was microchipped to another rescue and weighed 19 pounds, making it clear she needed support with her weight. With dedicated care and plenty of love, she is now noticeably healthier and thriving! Esmeralda adores chasing her laser pointer and will get up and move for playtime when there’s a little encouragement. Her playful spirit, sweet nature, and delightful meows are sure to bring joy to any home. Her journey continues as she seeks a devoted adopter willing to maintain her special diet and keep her happily engaged with stimulating toys. Give Esmeralda the chance to flourish and stay on the right path to a healthy, joyful life. Fun fact: Esmeralda's birthday is May 26, making her a playful and communicative Gemini—she’s sure to keep you entertained! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
