Rocky
AvailableRocky is a young, neutered male American Shorthair with a short, gray tabby coat. He’s house trained and vaccinated, ideally suited for someone in Vacaville, CA who understands a cat with his mix of independence and wariness.
About Rocky
Rocky is a young American Shorthair who pairs well with his sister Peaches, especially if you want two watchful garden cats. He is still warming up to people and isn't cut out for full-time indoor life—Rocky prefers a balance of indoor comfort and outdoor freedom to explore and keep pests in check. While he might not be the lap cat type, in the right hands and with patience, you’ll see a genuinely sweet side emerge. Rocky needs someone who understands cat behavior and has experience helping shy cats gain confidence. He does get along with other cats, but adjustments around dogs or children aren’t a fit for him. Rocky is both neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, and he’s been house trained. He’s looking for a special human who can meet him at his comfort level and appreciate his independent spirit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
