About Wallace

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Wallace is a dignified and distinguished 3 1/2-year-old mixed breed dog who first came to the shelter as a lost pup. House broken and a gentleman on leash, Wallace stands out for his serious nature and wry sense of humor—he’d fit right in with Brian from Family Guy. Initially more reserved, Wallace has blossomed around the other dogs, showing off his playful side, but true to his practical nature, don’t be surprised if he raids the trash for survival. Treats don’t always motivate Wallace, except for beef jerky, but he’s already got a handle on cues like sit, stay, come, and paw. This love bug is a true blanket hog and can be counted on for both affection and some dry wit. He adores rope toys and stuffed animals, though the latter don’t last long in his company. Wallace does best with other dogs but isn’t a candidate for homes with cats or small children—he prefers friends with a bit of polish. Twice returned due to housing and compatibility, Wallace is ready for someone who appreciates his mature spirit and well-mannered ways. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
