About Wallace
Wallace is a 3 1/2-year-old mixed breed who values simple pleasures and keeps to himself. Housebroken and easy on leash, he arrives with a dignified, low-key presence and a dry, somewhat sarcastic spiritāthink Brian from Family Guy, but on four legs. Wallace was picked up as a stray, so heās practical, even if that means digging for a snack when needed. He wasnāt quick to take to training unless beef jerky was on the table, but he knows sit, stay, come, and pawādown, heel, and roll over still need work. Heās not much for theatrics but warms up given time, and once comfortable, heāll join in with the other dogs. Rope toys and stuffed animals are fair game, but youāll want to keep an eye on plushiesāheāll shred them if given the chance. Adopted and returned twice, Wallace does not enjoy life with young children or cats but is comfortable and playful with other dogs. His ideal adopter will have no cats or small kids at home and will appreciate his laid-back but wry personality. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, on monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Heās waiting in Brazil, IN. Your new best friend is just one click away.
