ROXIE is an 9 year old mixed breed surrendered to CCHS on 1/18/24. Friendly and sweet, she's a wiggle butt with people. Once out of the kennels and away from all the other dogs, Roxie walked better. She's a strong girl, who begins briskly before settling in. Roxie has lived with other dogs, but bigger is better since she can be aggressive with cats, rabbits, rodents and smaller dogs. She's also lived with kids of all ages and was friendly and tolerant with them. Roxie knows sit and stay, but needs to work on curtailing her jumping on people. She will fare best in a home with a securely fenced yard as she is a runner. Roxie's favorite toy is tennis balls, even though she destroys them. She also enjoys treats! If you like affectionate, playful and a bit independent, then Roxie's you're gal. Her adoption fee is $75 and helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly heart worm and flea preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS.
