About Rocco

Rocco was pulled straight from the brink, rescued from the South LA shelter after living through some tough times. Now at 8 years old and weighing about 95 pounds, he's moved on to life as a mellow and affectionate companion with a huge heart. Rocco isn’t noisy; he prefers lounging nearby or trotting after a tennis ball, always keeping his people in sight. His recent bloodwork and dental exam looked great, and he's completely vetted—healthy, settled, and looking for the right home. He does well around calm, large dogs but doesn't fit well with small dogs. Rocco's prior foster home, focused on small seniors, just couldn’t give him what he needed, so he’s now safe and thriving in a different foster as we hunt for his forever family. If you want an easygoing, loyal buddy who finds joy in the simple things and just wants you nearby, Rocco could be the one. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
