About Paula
Paula is a one-year-old mixed breed who came in severely underweight and malnourished along with another dog, Paris. After arriving as a stray just before the holidays, she needed careful feeding with small meals and still benefits from a slow feeder or puzzle bowl because of her fast eating habits. She’s recovered well, putting on healthy weight and gradually becoming less shy with people. Paula is friendly and sweet with those she knows. While she came in with Paris, it didn't take long to realize Paula is happiest as the only dog—she does not get along with other dogs. Athletic and strong, Paula is also quite the escape artist and can scale fences, so her yard will need to be secure. She seems house trained. Paula’s adoption fee is $150, which covers her spay, vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchip. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
