PAULA is a 1 year old mixed breed taken in as an emaciated, lost dog on 12/23/24 with another dog, Paris. Literally bone thin and malnourished at intake, she required multiple small feedings per day for a week. A fast eater, she requires a slow feeder or puzzle bowl to slow her down. Paula has put on weight and she looks so much better! She's also feeling better and isn't as shy around people. A cutie, Paula's sweet and good with people. While she came in with Paris and did well with her at first, as time progressed, it became clear that Paula is not a fan of other dogs. Very athletic, she's a strong, fast walker and a fence jumper and climber. We believe she's house broken. Paula's adoption fee is $150 and helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heat worm preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS.
