There are just a few important recommendations to keep in mind: - Puppies like Moby are fragile little nuggets of joy, so kiddos should be at least six years old to adopt a puppy like him. - If you're considering adopting a small breed dog in the future, we recommend kids be at least eight years old, and for herding or working breeds, twelve is the magic number! Adoption Procedures? Oh honey, it’s a thoughtful journey! We travel up to two hours for physical home visits (no virtual visits here, folks) because we want to ensure Moby’s forever home is the right fit. 🏠 While not every dog requires fencing, Moby’s future home must have a secured yard. 🌳 If you live in an apartment, we still want to chat about it, as long as your landlord gives you the green light! Now, here’s where it gets a bit serious. 🕵️‍♂️ Adopters should be at least 21 years old; we don't believe college students are best suited for Moby yet. His past has been rocky, and he deserves lots of attention and care! 💔 So, make sure you’re ready for this big commitment.
