About Charlie

Charlie’s story comes full circle—he was one of the first dogs adopted after the rescue opened. He lived years with his previous family, but circumstances changed and he ended up at a shelter, even though the plan was always for him to return to the rescue. Thankfully, the shelter contacted the rescue and Charlie will be back in Auburn, PA within the week. He’s up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Charlie gets along very well with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. In foster care before, he lived happily with three other dogs and young children. He isn’t a fit for homes with cats but thrives in places where he can be around people and other dogs. He’s house trained and ready to start his next chapter—this time, for good. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
