About Floyd

Floyd is a striking black cat who came to Clarion PAWS with his housemates after his owner's health took a sudden downturn. His world changed quickly and, understandably, Floyd still looks a bit lost sometimes. He was the biggest kitten of his litter and, as his previous person put it, a real mama’s boy. There’s a quiet calm about him, and he tends to watch from the sidelines until he’s sized up the room. Floyd is a bit bashful at first and might keep his distance, but as soon as you offer gentle pets, he softens. He’s still adapting to this new chapter—slow progress, but he’s coming along. Once he gets past his nerves, he reveals his affectionate side and enjoys being loved on. He’s already neutered, vaccinated (including rabies), tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and microchipped, so he’s ready for a fresh start. Floyd’s a Pisces—he channels that sensitive streak for sure. Give him some patience, and he’ll be a loyal companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
