About Slade
Slade is out there searching for his match. Heās been in weekend foster and the feedback from his hosts is about as solid as they come. He loads up in the car without hesitation and enjoys every type of car rideāwindows-down cruiser or head-down, just along for the drive. He isnāt anxious on the road, which tends to set him apart from a lot of big dogs. While staying in a kennel built for no-dog-contact situations, Slade lived alongside two resident dogs, separated only by fencing. The dogs quickly figured one another out through playful fence chases. No tension, just lots of interest and positive energy. Slade enjoyed his own space in the house at night, where he made good use of an XL crate (door left open) and, at times, claimed a recliner or watched TV. Not a single mess in three nightsāhe seems reliably housebroken. His foster also reported strong bonds with people and a clear gentle streak, especially with his hostess. Leash walks were relaxing events for everyone involved; no pulling, just plenty of sniffing and curiosity. He especially loved long-leash strolls out by the river. Slade will likely fit in well anywhere, whether itās with a single person or a whole household. Quick astro tidbit: Sladeās birthday is June 27, making him a Cancerāthese pups are known for their loyalty and their calm, friendly dispositions. Give them the home they have been waiting for.
