About Buddy
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Buddy is a super sweet lover with a never-ending wagging tail, always ready to bring joy to your home. He does wonderfully with children—he lived with twins who were only 8 when he joined the family—and also gets along beautifully with other dogs, including smaller breeds, and even cats. Buddy is a loyal companion who loves to sit and lay by your feet as you relax. Outside, he’s playful, running and chasing anything he sees in the yard. Grooming is a treat, as he especially enjoys being brushed. Since a recent move, Buddy and his brother have become stressed and have developed some destructive behaviors, so they are looking for separate, loving homes where they can thrive individually. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who offers affection and fun, Buddy is ready to make your family complete. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Buddy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
The Chow Chow typically does best in homes with secure, fenced yards or in spacious apartments where daily walks are provided. They appreciate a calm, structured environment and are well-suited to both suburban and urban living as long as their exercise needs are met.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chow Chows benefit from moderate outdoor space; a securely fenced yard is ideal but not required if they receive regular walks. They need daily exercise but are not excessively high energy compared to some breeds.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
With proper socialization, Chow Chows can do well in families with respectful children. They generally prefer a peaceful household and are best matched with older children who understand how to interact gently with dogs.
