About Angus

Angus is a 6.5-year-old large mixed-breed dog with unmistakable charm. Rescued from a high-risk shelter where he was overlooked for his age, Angus brings a regal, gentle energy into any room. With a Boxer-Basenji or American Bulldog look—long legs, slim build, and striking ears—he’s as handsome as he is sweet. His manners are impeccable, showing signs he was once cherished; he’s calm, very friendly, and proud but never brash. Angus is polite on leash, enjoys a relaxed walk, and adores treats and scratches. He knows several commands and gets along well with other dogs and children. Athletic but easygoing, he’d be right at home on hikes or lounging with his people. His housetraining is still uncertain, but he’s fully vetted, healthy, and neutered. Angus’s next home will be lucky to have him; his quiet loyalty and affection are genuine. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
