About Tuna
This could be the start of something paw-some. Tuna (short for "Tuna Steak") is a delightfully chatty and social adult tabby who loves nothing more than the company of his humans. He thrives on regular petting sessions, enjoys napping close by your side, and often follows people from room to room with curiosity and loyalty. Tuna is easygoing, responsive, and adapts quickly to new environments and rules, making him a joy in any household. Whether he’s lounging around, accepting surprise treats, or befriending new faces—including children and strangers—Tuna adds a spark of gentle playfulness to everyday life. He would be most comfortable in a low to moderate energy home where he can graze freely on his dry food, snuggle in for endless affection, and relax as he pleases. Born on September 20, Tuna is a detail-oriented Virgo—known for their gentle and helpful natures! Make their next chapter their best one yet. Chesapeake Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue serving Southern Maryland. All cats in our care are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and heartworm disease before adoption. As a foster-based organization, our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area by connecting them to safe homes and ensuring access to quality veterinary care. We also provide trap-neuter-return, education, and outreach throughout the community, always prioritizing transparency and humane treatment for every animal in our network.
