About Lizzie
Lizzie is in her golden years—at least 5 or older—and she’s earned a little peace. After a tough run living on the streets, she decided for herself that rescue was her way forward and made sure she didn’t leave the van when offered a way back. She’s been nothing but grateful ever since and soaks in the quiet comforts of indoor life. Her needs are simple: a soft bed, a safe spot to nap, and gentle affection from the people around her. She’s mellow, house trained, and prefers to keep it relaxed, both indoors and outside when having a casual sniff. Thunderstorms unsettle her, so any adopter should be ready to support her with patience and reassurance when the weather turns. Lizzie gets along well with other dogs—especially older, easy-going males—and isn’t looking to stir up any chaos. Kids and cats haven’t been tested with her. She’s a good passenger in the car and has a taste for pupacinos. Lizzie would love to live out her days with someone who values companionship as much as she does. What are you waiting for? Questions about Lizzie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Lizzie’s mixed breed background makes her quite adaptable, but she thrives in a calm, indoor setting where she can relax and feel secure. A quiet home would be ideal, especially since she’s a senior dog.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Lizzie doesn’t demand much when it comes to outdoor activities. A small yard or regular walks are enough for her, as she enjoys a bit of exploration but prefers lounging inside most of the time.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Lizzie is mellow and easy-going, but since her interaction with children is unknown, a home with older kids or adults might suit her best. Mixed-breed senior dogs like her often do well with calm, gentle families.
