About Mojo

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Mojo is truly blossoming as he gains confidence in his foster environment. Having found comfort in the company of Bitsy, his canine companion, Mojo now greets people with joyful enthusiasm instead of fear, seeking out affection and enjoying playtime. Walks and backyard adventures are highlights of his dayβ€”he especially loves quietly patrolling the yard without barking, simply observing and running along the fence. He sleeps peacefully in his crate each night and knows to use the doggie door for all his needs. Although Mojo still approaches new people with caution, he is eager to warm up, especially if treats are involved. The best home for Mojo would be one with another calm, gentle dog to help him continue building his confidence. He is not suited for a household with children, as fast movements and noise may cause him anxiety. With patience and the right companion, Mojo will make a loyal and loving addition to a quiet home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Mojo

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Dachshunds are typically well suited for life in both apartments and houses, but they do best in homes where they can get plenty of attention and regular exercise. They are happiest indoors with their people and enjoy a cozy, comfortable living space.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Dachshunds do not require a large yard, but they need daily walks and opportunities to sniff and explore. A secure yard is a bonus, but access to outdoor space for short playtimes is usually sufficient.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Dachshunds can be good with older, respectful children but may be wary of lively young kids. Early socialization and gentle handling are important if they will be part of a family with children.
